Whats the tone of voice inside your head when you think?

what tone of voice do you hear when you think of something? For me basically as monotone as you can get. Although sometimes in morgan freemans voice. :metal

This is actually a pretty interesting thread to me. I, as an introvert, do a hell of a lot of thinking. It really depends on what kind of mood I'm in. I'll find myself thinking in the same tone of voice that I'd be talking in if I were to say them out loud. Typically, I'll make a facial expression to fit the thought as well.

I'm kind of weird.

In my normal voice, I guess? I don't know. That's kind of a weird question, I've actually never thought about what my "thinking voice" sounds like.

i think its pretty much how I would say with my voice -- I find that when I'm driving alone, I say outloud pretty much everything I'm thinking.. I don't know why, but its only when I'm driving alone.

I just realized I have no thinking voice. At least not when I'm reading all of these posts. When I read material in which the author's voice in unknown to me...it kind of sounds like...nothing. Like the voice and emotion I perceive are just teleported into my brain without an actual voice. However, if I'm reading something where I know what the author's voice sounds like,

I hear that voice. So voice-wise, all these posts sound the same to me. :lol

Now the serious post.  I think we all hear our voice a bit richer and deeper of a tone.  He hear ourself internally.  If you've ever heard your voice on tape it's always a bit higher of a tone.

Sometimes I think in english.

And when I find myself doing it, it freaks me out. I may have exposed myself to english way too much.

The tone though, just like my regular voice.

I usually just think in whatever voice I hear myself talking in.

Though sometimes I think in different accents, and if I watch a movie with an interesting character I might think for a while with their voice.

It's the same tone as when I hear myself speak out loud. That is, how I sound to myself, not how others hear me, or how I'd sound if I listened to a recording of myself.

I don't think in my voice. I don't know who's it is. Unless I see a "you are reading this in my voice" thread. I think I'll try to think as Morgan Freeman though. I'd probably be a happier person.

LaBrie. Singing.
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

As if I was talking to myself aloud.

This. If I'm not saying whatever I think aloud, that is.
Cole: "Ow I just got hit in the balls"
Me: "How?"
Cole: "Well you know when you try to scratch your balls, and you scratch too hard?
I'll admit sometimes I want to listen to Dragonforce.

It really depends. If I'm alone, it's a calm voice, and sounds like me. If I am thinking hard on something, I hear in Carl Sagan's voice. True story.

I never actually thought of this before.  But I guess in the tone of my own voice.  Or sometimes I think about how my friends would say/react to certain things too.

Actually, the voice in my head sounds like Gilbert Gottfried.
