Booked Wolverhampton even though I live in Doncaster, I just think the experience at the Civic will be much better than The Dome (IMO Its not a very good venue), saw them at the Civic on the 8V tour and loved every minute of it. They seem to be switching around the venues up here every tour but Wolverhampton seems to be pretty consistent, honestly if DT want a fantastic northern venue then the Sheffield City Hall is perfect! That is if its available when they book.

Yep Sheffield City Hall would be perfect for me, I only live in Chesterfield.  Hopefully they'll play here on the full on tour.

And yes, DT do always seem to play some odd venues for these warm-up shows, but on the other hand they are so well worth it.

I may venture to Doncaster (love to see the first UK show with the new drummer) but I'll probably end up waiting for them to come to (probably) Manchester in the Winter. I'd love to see them come to Liverpool but we don't really have a venue that would be a good size, only one that is too big and two that are two small.

Should be a good summer for DT.

Seriously, there is a world of difference between seeing DT in an arena sized venue like Wembley or MEN and seeing them in a smaller club/theatre sized venue on these warm up shows. Go see them on the arena tour, sure, but make sure you make an effort to travel to see them do a club show at least once in your life. The energy and vibe is totally different. Last time round I saw them at Wembley, but I'm so glad I travelled to Leeds as well.

I'll second this.

On the SC tour, the smaller show in Newport I went to was better than the show at Wembley.
On the BCSL tour, again the smaller Southampton show was better than Wembley.

This tour, I should get a real mix. Two theatre/club shows and a festival in the summer, then arenas in the autumn/winter.

It is strange, however all the newest dates from dreamtheater.net correspond with all of the Myspace dates.
