In the passed few months I've become a pretty big Foo Fan. I'm pretty stoked for the new album.

Album Ranking:

The Colour and the Shape
In Your Honor
Echoes...
There is Nothing Left to Lose
Foo Fighters
One By One

Reminds me of Wolfmother actually for some reason.  I prefer White Limo.

I think I like Rope better than White Limo. Either way, Rope is pretty generic, even for the Foos, and white limo is a little extreme. I hope the album is somewhere in between.

I was hoping for a decent single but maybe a little heavier from all the hype, but after listening to Rope again it's a very good song.  Much better than their first single off the last one, The Pretender *vomits*.

What? I love The Pretender, it's one of their best songs ever IMHO. Different tastes, I guess :)

New album streaming here. On their Soundcloud page, so I assume it's been officially sanctioned.

Listened to the whole album now.

Really good.

Best one in ages. And I enjoyed Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace...

But This is even better.

This is the closest theyve come to sounding like the first two albums again.

Listening now. I'm really liking it so far.
So far, it feels a bit like The Color and the Shape meets One By One. This is a very good thing.

I wouldn't consider myself a fan (I don't own any albums), but I like every song I've heard from them. Which is many (thanks to my mom).

Only listened a couple of times but I enjoyed it more than I've enjoyed any Foos record in a very long time, since I first heard TCATS in fact.

There's a Foo Fighters documentary coming out that will be shown theatrically (no idea where) on the 5th, and on various VH1 stations on the 8th.

I'm not really a Foo Fighters fan, but I call Prophets of War the Foo Fighters song.   Just thought I'd mention that.  Carry on...

Haha, WTF Dublagent.  I don't hear it. :lol

Anyway, I finally listened to this album and it's pretty awesome.  Some of this stuff is better than their early material IMO.  I'm really impressed and pleasantly surprised.

Picked it up and cranked it during the drive home (which became a very extended route). So damn good! Not crazy about the packaging, but the 'piece of the original master tape' included with it is a pretty cool inclusion.

Also, I love the sticker that was on the front of the packaging;
"Recorded Entirely On Analog Tape In Dave's Garage", as well as "PLEASE PLAY AT MAXIMUM VOLUME".  :lol :metal
