All correct and updated.

There are 3 albums on here that are in the jazz family.  I do love how blues influenced rock guitarists early on.  I listen to a lot of jazz fusion, too, even solo albums from members of the big 3 70's fusion acts.

There's a US #1 on here, used to be a band but collapsed into a solo act about 40 years ago.  My favourite guitarist debuted on the album.

Speaking of which, advanced search might help you find a list of my top artists.

Know any artists that go by two initials?

I have no idea on the last one, and have no idea what that could be a puzzle for.  The only thing I can think of is someone related to Ayreon.

:(

Shit, sorry for putting the album on there.  I don't know who plays this game, but I know at least a few other prominent posters are familiar with her albums.  Her videos have gone around this site and fiveeights over the years and a few of us pick up her albums on release.  There's usually a small thread when she releases a new album, and it isn't always created by me. I also dropped a few hints early search for my top artists in case people didn't know her, she'll be mentioned every time.

Damn you went deep into the vault with a lot of these.
I didn't mean to make it this hard, most of these are albums I really love.  I haven't really built my library from recommendations on this site, so I'm a little out of touch for how well known anything is.  I tried to pick bands artists I know have been talked about or are prominent in their scene.  I feel bad some of these were hard, I thought more would be pretty easy.

In fact, I thought the last one would be too easy.  The album had it's own thread when it was released and still gets mentioned.  A quick search of the album title brought up 8 or 9 different posters mentioning the album.  I dropped an earlier hint that one of these albums was by an artist that goes by two initials.  That's binary for the initials.

I guess it's pretty easy to get far off the path of what's known/not known around here.  There's so much awesome music out there - and with the deep libraries that most of us have, it can be hard to know what's going to be easy/hard to get.  I'm sure I wouldn't have to get too far into my library to find shit no one has ever heard of... Rockhead and Shadow's Mignon did it pretty easily on my two creations.

In this case, I haven't even heard of most of those bands - I didn't check out a lot of your posts at LO back in April/May, since I was holding off on discovering anything new because I was holding my Roulette around that time.

Do one Rich.

What's funny is that you would expect Hardline to be one of the toughest on a prog rock/metal forum. :lol  That was an easy addition, though, I figured you or wolfking would get it quickly.  Ah well, I'll try to make a better one if I do this again.  Thanks to everyone for letting me try!
