So yeah, this album is all kinds of awesome. Love it, definitely Top 5 of the year. What I noticed immediately (and very much liked) is that there are a whole lot more guitar solos on this album.

So I got Citadel as a late christmas present a little while ago. I like it a lot, and this is coming from someone who was only ever to make it through a few songs on Portal of I. I think the fact that there's really only three songs makes this album a lot more accessible, though I do wish there was perhaps one more song, since while Painters Of The Tempest and Devour Me Colossus are both great, Phyrric is just okay. I also think the band's heavy sections could use a lot more variety, but this is still a very enjoyable album overall.

New UK/Ireland tour announced with Oceans of Slumber in October.

I'm actually fairly tempted despite not being a HUGE fan. I've heard some good things about Oceans of Slumber as well.

Yea, I've seen the new (I think) Oceans of Slumber album popping up in the 'What album are you listening to' thread a lot recently. Might check it out then get tickets to this.

Turns out I did go to this show and both bands were great (although OoS were the better band). Even converted a few of my friends that night.

already ordered Season of Mists vinyl variant thats limited to 100, can't wait for this record

the song didn't immediately grab me like some of theirs, but I'm sure it'll grow on me

First song I heard from them and it is awesome.

I listened to some other tracks and I loved them too. I like the contrast of the vocals, along with the how the clean vocalist is the violinist. Sort of reminds me of Kansas.

I am so glad they're coming here and I am not going to miss seeing them live.
