I've been on a retro gaming kick lately and have been going back to find games I never got around to back in the day. Picked up copies of Jet Force Gemini, Banjo-Kazooie, and Ogre Battle 64 :hat

I've been playing Super Mario All-Stars most of the week. Was sick in bed and some old school mario is the perfect distraction.

Black Ops is like the last game I would get for the Wii :p. Although I played World at War and it wasn't that bad.

Theres really no point in getting it for the Wii if you have any other gaming system, but since I don't have an XBox, PS3, or a decent gaming PC... with the classic controller its not that bad, except you miss out on split screen and the graphics aren't as good.

Also, I didn't buy it.

Just finished Resident Evil 4. Found it pretty enjoyable, but was ready for it to end a few weeks ago.

Started up Twilight Princess (yes, I know I am way behind). There is nothing more glorious, nor nothing more annoying, than starting a new Zelda game. I am old enough to remember the first game, where you walked in to the cave, get the sword, walk to the next screen, and start fighting enemies. So far in TP, I have herded some goats, caught a fish for some old lady’s cat, called a bird to retrieve a gal’s baby cradle, and now I am trapped in a jail cell as a wolf.

Im also stuck on the last level.
I got  close hiding out on the circular balcony on the far end and shooting in the door way. I could also shoot the idiots who drop out of the helicopter easier that way too. You have to time, when you run back in and shoot Alec at one of the predetermined spots where he stops....then run back out on the balcony. I had him down to a sliver...and thought I'd just about dealt with everything they could throw at me, then innocently hovering helicopter opened up with the guns and rocket launchers shooting at inocent brittish agents standing on the balcony.

The mulitplayer is a hoot.
But by the sounds of it, it's no comparison to other first person shooters. Small levels. And only 8 I think. But stll...it's ALOT of fun. It's a very simply fps.

Whoa... maybe I'm not even at the last level?  :lol I'm at the one where the place is self destructing. I can't get past the part where the girl is using the control pannels.

Played some good old Mario kart Wii with 3 of my friends today. Won most of them but I've lost a lot of skill :D

Back in the day I had a few levels in the regional top 10 for time trials :D

I get to the third one. :( And I get SO CLOSE. But I always run out of time.

Also, we really need to set a day where we all play some Wii games online together. Mario Kart, SSBM, Goldeneye, whatever... I just think it would be pretty cool.

Just beat Super Mario Galaxy 2 :D

Of course, by "beat" I mean I got 70 stars and rescued Peach from Bowser. I still have 49 more stars to get and then 120 green stars. Woot.

I thought brawl was the worst of the three. That fucking smash ball ruined the game, at least for me. I know I could have turned it off but my friends never wanted to. Even if you set the generating of it on low, you'd still see it more than any other item, except maybe the hammer.

It's a good idea, but I agree, it shows up too often and it packs such a punch that the fighting is hindered by its use. If it showed up a lot less, it would be great because everyone would have more desire to try and get it.

1. Melee
2. Brawl
3. Original

My list is the same. But I put the original last because it was the last one I played, and going from the newer to the originals was weird and I too used to the updated versions.
