I haven't decided if I'm gonna get the 3DS or not. Honestly, the only reason I really want one at the moment is for 3D OOT. Other than that, I wouldn't really mind waiting until it goes way down in price.
But afadfadsfae I DON'T KNOW Zelda is just so amazing how can I turn it down?
As amazing as the 3DS looks (speaking as someone who literally played my original brick Gameboy to death and is still amazed Nintendo is about to put out a handheld this powerful ) and great as the third-party support is already shaping up to be, the price point is looking way to high for me, especially when I'm still getting good mileage from the cuurent ones. I can wait a couple years for the model update with a longer battery life and (hopefully) lower price.
Thats what I was thinking. I forgot the exact price, but I do remember it being ATLEAST $200 (although I think it was more in the ballpark of 250-300 if I recall correctly). And since Nintendo is famous for putting out a new model of their handheld systems every 2 years, it would seem to make sense to just wait awhile.
And I remember the original Gameboy... I still have mine in my closet, even though the glue that held the face plate disintegrated and the battery cover is missing.
The jump from Gameboy/gameboy pocket to gameboy color was HUGE, and I still remember playing Pokemon in color for the first time, trying to figure out what some of the sprites were supposed to be.
Actually, I owned almost every Gameboy except for the micro. I never owned a DS until this summer, and I only bought one because they had a cheap used first-gen DS at my local game stop.
