Regarding all of the snow so far, and the imminent storm coming this week that will likely be the worst we've had yet- he was basically like...
At this point it's like going into the prison shower and spreading your own ass cheeks. You know it's coming, there's not a damn thing you can do about it, so just accept that it's going to happen and get it over with.

OMG how many more weeks until Spring???

This sucks. I moved closer to the foothills of the Cascades *JUST* so I could be where there would be more snow every year. In that 10 year time frame, we've had maybe two halfway decent snows. And absolutely *NONE* this winter whatsoever.

Here in the Toronto area, the previous consecutive record with snow on the ground was 81 days (back in the 70s if I recall the news report correctly). We blew past that on Friday. Given the extreme cold we've been having, the amount of snow we have (and we got another couple of inches overnight), methinks this year will hold the record for quite some time. Pretty sure we'll hit 100 days no problem.

In Regina on Friday, it was hitting -40^oC, -58^oC with the wind chill factor. Only place colder than that apparently ... Mars.

Holy crap that does not sound like fun. I get pissed when I finish snow blowing and the plows come back and mess things up. It's like they hide around corners waiting for us shlubs to put away the snow blowers.

We're having a nice fun storm here in Missouri. Here in the St. Louis area, we had freezing rain all night (which was loud enough on the trees to never let me sleep for very long without being woken up

), and we will top it off all day today with 4-8 inches of snow. Glorious. I am soooooo ready for spring.

We actually only wound up getting about 3 or 4 inches overnight last night- much better than the foot they were threatening.

I find it really pathetic that I'm happy with only getting 3 inches of snow.

Not sure how you pronounce "vagina", or Regina, but they don't really rhyme that much.

^ The town of Regina in Saskatchewan is pronounced Ra-ji-na, not Ra-jeena, as you would expect. Vagina is pronounced va-ji-na. The only difference being one starts with the letter R, and one with the letter V. About as rhyming as you can get really.
