The memory of what I first saw when I looked out the window Saturday morning is seared into my brain forever. In this photo we had almost dug out, except for the most daunting task... the end of the driveway...and just shovels.

Just spent three hours in traffic trying to get home. Accidents everywhere, people stuck in snow mounds.

A commute which normally takes around 25 minutes stretched into hours since we got close to 12 inches today in Philly, pretty much out of nowhere, yet no one thought it would be a good idea to cancel class.

I left work 2 hours early. I usually have a 75 minute ride home. It took almost three hours, and that was avoiding highway all together.

My Mini Cooper hates this weather!

I know right? I went out and shoveled everything clean around 7:30pm thinking everything was winding down, but apparently not.

God damn clusterfuck mid-day though. Took like a half an hour to go 5 blocks.

In Lake County, Indiana the lake effect machine kicked in and dropped up to 2 feet in some places... this has been a crazy winter around here

I don't understand how this storm, where we got a foot, managed to fuck everything up more than the storm last year where 2.5 feet dropped on much of the Island.

I'm in South Jersey, right over the bridge from Philly. I left work in Pennsauken at 1 p.m. and finally made it home to Clementon in just about 3 and a half hours. It's usually about a 35 minute commute.

But, at least I wasn't driving.

Mother nature is gonna get a cunt-punch pretty soon. 6+ inches on the weekend here... the wet heavy shit too. Then, I don't know what the "official" total was today, but there was 10 inches on my van by the end of the day (mrs.jingle didn't have to measure, she knows EXACTLY what 10 inches looks like).

Seriously though... I've had enough of this shit. It's piled so high around my driveway, the snow blower can't get it over the pile. We have to shovel the edge of the fuckin lawn so there's a place to put the snow from the driveway.

Seriously, go fuck yourself Mother Nature.

This was my deck railing earlier today. It's an optical illusion with the angle I took the picture. It's actually 13 inches of snow. That's from the weekend, and today (up to about 1pm). We got probably another 3-4 inches after that.

Pretty normal winter here. Last year it was snow snow snow, this year it's cold cold cold with snow mixed in. Last year, the last snowstorm was May 10 or something like that, then five days later it was eighty degrees.

This year, the cold has been pretty bad. -10 degrees most days with bad wind-chill. Warming up this week though with snow and about 25 degrees of warmth
