Now they are talking 65 MPH winds where I am plus 20+ inches of snow. Looks like a job for the generator.

I just got back from gassing up my vehicle. and of coarse I bought milk and bread. Not exactly sure why you have to do that but hey, rules are rules so...

Bought a new snowblower last night. I'm already sick of this. I keep wishing for some sort of sunburst to warm the weather system up.

Millahh I moved last year. I live in the most northern part of Westchester, on the Putnam county border. I am about 45 miles from my parents in Bayside.

We have about a foot of snow.

Yeah, it's pretty crazy. My dog won't even go near it. He walked out for a few seconds and came right back in. I guess he's not a fan of snow higher than him.

We got slammed here on the MA/RI state line. I'd say there's at least two feet out there. I'll post some before and after pics shortly.

By the way, I'd be thrilled if we only got a foot. I don't have the official numbers for what fell here, but I had to shovel out a spot in the backyard this morning so my dogs could relieve themselves and that show was all up over my knees, AND I shoveled out that same exact spot last night twice, once at 7:00pm and once at 10:00pm.....I gotta think we got close to 30 inches of snow here.

I meant we got a 18 inches the night before and a foot last night.

NWS says we got ~8 inches, although it looks to be ~13, based on an undistrubed spot out of the wind. Only took ~15 minutes for us to dig the car out, but we didn't get plowed in, either. However, where I work (Commack) apparently got 29.1 inches.
