Very nice.  Despite him having little to actually say, it was pretty cool to get a detailed look at his amp settings and pedal settings.

So a total random thing, I was listening to Party All Day and recognised some vocals. Looked it up on wiki and it was of course Justin Hawkins. Clicked his name on wiki to see what he's been up to and WTH:

Quote from:
Justin David Hawkins (born 17 March 1979, died 03 July 2015) is an English musician...

Haven't heard anything so what's that about?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justin_Hawkins

Edit: Nevermind, removed from wiki so it was probably some prank.

Nothing in the news and nothing in the dates on the right , so I would say it's a prank that will eventually be removed.

That's the problem with Wikipedia, any one can add info

It can also create some good funnies though.  In recent weeks a few issues with Swedish guitarist Tommy Denander have come to a head with some pretty heavy online fisticuffs involving a few well know people in the industry including Steve Lukather.  One of the many issues with Denander is that he has a habit of exaggerating (bigtime) the artists he has worked with/albums he has appeared on and spends half his life spruiking all these names.

Anyway............it has since been removed but in amongst the neverending quotes of praise that Tommy had entered onto his own Wikipedia page someone managed to squeeze this little gem:

"Tommy has been a true source of inspiration and a pleasure to work with. I would never have completed Symphony #5 had it not been for Tommy's input. If you think he's a good guitar player, wait until you hear him tear it up on harpsichord on my new album!"

  • But Hachikuji, I've told you over and over...
So I'm seeing clips from some sort of live streamed performance by Steel Panther that featured an appearance by the awesome Ninja Sex Party, what was this?

And is anyone in this thread familiar with NSP?

...my name is Araragi.

^^ Well, it looks like Steel Panther had another live stream on Yahoo (How did they get two within a year?  Alter Bridge couldn't get one and their US shows was promoted through Live Nation and were playing in venues that were bigger than some of the venues I see on the schedule list of the Yahoo streams.)

Awesome as usual performance, just avoid watching the video. :lol Luckily Miley wasn't really audibly singing.

Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

I would prefer the humour to be a bit more subtle and clever like in their best moments. When they go too ott I do tend to get a bit too grossed out.

I agree, subtle works much better.
