FUUUUUUUCK.

My restoration vinyl shipped from Burning Shed. Now if Haken posts those limited ones I either will have two copies or decide to forego it.

Which ones are you talking about'?;

Do you mean the clear ones? It sounds like they're selling them at shows and then if they have any left over after the tour they'll sell them from their own website.

Oh, last I knew they were supposed to go on the website in mid-October.

Yes, but you are not a famous drummer and I'm guessing that you don't have a gong either.

I guessed it right :D

Well, Haken have been very clear right from the start that it was just a very small "cameo" appearance from both MP and Pete Rinaldi. This is about the level that I was expecting.

I voted for the xylophone + guitar section in the middle of the song, but I was wrong :D

Yep, Crystallised is Haken's best song. Ever.

THOSE LAST 3 NOTES + THE GONG...

The ending reminds me of a very small motif in Dvorak's New World Symphony...

Even though I'd probably rank Crystallised as the best one (gotta love the epics), I'm more into Earthlings at the moment. Breathtaking stuff. The updated 'chant' section or whatever it is gives me chills with all the new layers of harmonies and the new way the rhythms are presented in.

Just thinking that the guys in DT could have invited MP to play the gong at the end of Outcry.

Got both copies today! :) (the orange and black vinyl, yes I am an idiot for getting two)

Listening to Darkest Light now for the time and it's spinning nicely on my turntable. This is pretty awesome.

I especially like that I really enjoy all of the songs on the EP but I also feel that the originals have retained their magic. I can be content and listen to either, which is nice.

Pay for it, then. Buy it. I'm pretty sure these forums do not advocate illegally downloading music. You can find it in various webstores, it's on iTunes. Hell, it's even on Spotify.

Not on American Amazon either, which would have been my preferred place to shop.
