Okay, some stuff/criticism/appreciation
-DROP THE GROWLS. They always seem out of place (especially in Streams) and to be honest they're not very good growls.
-The cheesy sections don't flow well with the songs at all; they only end up detracting from the music.
-Hello, unfitting keyboard solo at the end of Drowning In The Flood. Only flaw of a nearly-perfect song.
-Celestial Elixir is definitely too long; could cut down on the instrumentals a bit and it just feels too dragged out.
-Admit it, the riff for the second half of Eternal Rain is stolen from Innocence Faded (I made this connection on my very first listen <_< It really bothers me tbh.)
Now the appreciativeness!
-Point of No Return is good as a whole, no real standout moments though. The cheesy bit in the intro and the growls bring it down a bit though.
-Streams is really fun in the first half; I don't here stuff like that anymore. I also love the section right after the obnoxious growling part; really nice. Every time I hear the ending it seems a little abrupt though.
-Aquarium is awesome, the chilling intro and the verses have an awesome dark sound to them. Chorus is awesome as well. And the speed up to a more cheery sound... flawless transition. And the twin guitar solo at around 7:10 is really memorable even for its simplicity.
-Eternal Rain... love the intro melody and the energy in the first half. Already gave my opinion on the stolen riff section <_<
-Drowning In The Flood is so rockin' and heavy in the first half; can't help but love it. Great chorus as well. And the keyboard break in the middle is beautiful and chilling. And then the ending chorus... just wonderful. Still not a fan of the ending at all though :/
-Sun... it's kinda just there. Slower song and not as memorable though the first verse I remember being pretty nicely done. Maybe this is that song that you need to listen to 10+ times to be able to get it; had that same problem with PoS's The Perfect Element; couldn't remember it at all on early listens but it's now one of my favorite songs by the band.
-Celestial Elixir has possibly the best chorus ever. Don't argue with me here. It's amazing. Like I already said it goes on for a bit too long but it's great musically and works really well as a closer; the ending to the song feels like a real end to the album.
And overall this is an awesome album; glad I bought it!
Also, HAHA at you who don't have the album.
