Fuck it, just get their whole discography.
Might as well.
I mean, you would sooner or later. Start with their second phase,
A Farewell To Kings/
Hemispheres/
Permanent Waves/
Moving Pictures. Then go back and forward an album each -
2112 and
Signals; then again -
Caress Of Steel and
Grace Under Pressure; and once more -
Fly By Night and
Power Windows. If you dig them a lot by then, get their first, self-titled debut album and their last album under the Mercury label
Hold Your Fire, which ends their third phase.
If you REALLY like them, go into their fourth phase, which starts with their first release on Atlantic,
Presto. Everything from there forward is a bit different each album, and an interesting progression that shows how the band has become who they are today. Do all of this in the next 8-10 months before their 18th studio album comes out,
Clockwork Angels.
You won't look back, but you will wonder why you never had their whole discography before today.
