I'll do it again unless others who haven't got a chance want to do it.

I'm also looking foward to the songs picked and what numbers has to say!!

Well, once the others get their submissions in, it won't take long before I get the results up. I've listened to all but one song more than 3 times and I have a pretty good idea of what I think of the songs so expect the results up sometimes tomorrow. :)

edit: and I would love to take part in the next one if you need people. If you have enough people, that's ok too. No worries.

I probably would, seeing as I'd love to expand my tastes a bit and unless I get lucky I'm probably not going to be able to partake in this one  :lol

Still, it's your natural tendency to absolutely hate everything anybody ever recommends to you. And then a few days later it's like "ZOMG IT'S SO GOOD WHY DIDN'T I HEAR IT SOONER LOL"

While I agree, there are times where I actually hate the songs forever. This is one of them. They are a fairly famous band and it sucked...badly.

edit: FYI, that has happened twice. Thats it. And I can think of 3 examples off the top of my head where I tried to listen to some shit and still dislike it.

Slayer, Devin Townsend (Twice), Opeth, I know there has to be more, but I'm tired.

Slayer and Devin (it only counts once)

Thats it for what I dig. If you want to count Damnation, you can as well.

However, i still don't like PT, Opeth's heavy shit, and PoS.

I want to run one of these, and I'm going to make people apply and not just take the first X number of people.  Leaving it to the first people to agree to play is just happenstance.  If you want people who are going to bring a certain element, I think you search for it.

Expect the results up late tonight/early tomorrow morning. Or tomorrow sometime. I think Orcus and DTVT are going to be the replacements and DTVT already sent his song so we will be good after Orcus sends his. This is assuming the other 2 don't send theirs.
