This might be the soonest I've encountered a shiny after a game's release.

Got the game a few days ago. The Ride Pager might by my favourite addition to a Pokemon game ever. I wasn't a fan of some of the differences at first, but the game is definitely warming up to me. Fantastic addition to the series.

My daughter is OBSESSED with pokemon and drawing them. I should post a few of her drawings here. She's 6 but draws better than many adults.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I played it for a while, I think I put a good 10 hours into it. I eventually got tired of sacrificing Pokemon just to level up another though, and repeating the same high level areas over and over and over. Not a bad time waster though, it would be better on a phone rather than the Switch (not sure why they put it on Switch first, really). I ended up going back to Pokemon Go since they implemented gifts and me and a couple friends of mine send each other gifts daily so that's pretty cool. It'll keep me tied over until Let's Go (buddy's getting Pikachu, I'm getting Eevee), and then I'll be able to transfer my Go Pokemon to Let's Go. I don't mess with the gyms in Go whatsoever but I have several strong creatures ready to go!

I'm really excited to see what they do with gen 8 though. They have so many Pokemon and so many clones that I hope they're working with some really fresh new ideas for the series' proper debut on Switch. Although I still expect 70-100 brand new Pokemon, with even more Spearow and Pikachu clones...

IT IS HERE!!!!

Detective Pikachu starring Ryan Reynolds

https://youtu.be/1roy4o4tqQM

“POKÉMON Detective Pikachu” is set for release on Friday, May 10, 2019

Honestly...I'll go see it. The poke'mon actually look pretty cool. I wonder if the main character is only able to hear pikachu, i'm assuming so based on Pikachu talking to Mr. Mime (I'm glad they made him an actual Mime, we won't have to hear that annoying "Mr. Mime" from the Anime).

So freaking unnerving to see some Pokemon in that ultra fine detail. That Charizard looks amazing though. Not sure if I'll go see it, at least not in theaters, but it looks fun.

I am 100% in favor of this!

Though, I can understand those who think it's stupid.

Just saw Detective Pikachu. I caught a 4:45 screening with my bro and his sons. It was pretty good, I enjoyed it and the storyline was nice, although a bit rushed in the end. Could've used 15 min. More I feel. The graphics were great save from some obvious physic CGI stuff. I watched it in 3D which i feel greatly enhanced the atmosphere and visuals. It was mainly used on the pokemon to add more depth to them, looked more real with the 3D adding to their Fur and other realistic features.

I would recommend this movie for Pokemon fans whom wanted to see them in real life.
