Which of the following Northern Europe countries produces the best music? :hat

Some examples:

Norway - Ulver, Green Carnation, Circus Maximus, ARK, Arcturus, Emperor, a fuckton of black metal
Sweden - Opeth, Pain of Salvation, Katatonia, Soilwork, In Flames, Scar Symmetry, Meshuggah
Finland - Sonata Arctica, Amorphis, Nightwish, Children of Bodom, Stratovarius, Ensiferum
Iceland - Sigur Ros, Björk, múm, Seabear, Amiina

didn't really want to count the UK as I focused on mainly Scandinavian stuff, but if you really, really want to vote for that choose "Other"

it's gotta be Sweden for me

This is very tough... Finland is my home country and has many great bands but Opeth, Katatonia and early In Flames are great too. I think I'll vote for Finland.

I voted for Sweden, because Opeth is one of my favorite bands, and i really love Katatonia as well.
Norway is close because of Ulver, but i don't really know any of the other norweigan bands, Iceland is cool as well, because Björk is simply...  :heart

Surprised you didn't have Denmark as well, but i wouldn't have voted for them anyways.  :biggrin:
