That's the same video they had live on the screen on the Time Machine tour.  (it's also on the Time Machine DVD/BluRay)

I love those videos...they are reason enough to attend any Rush concert.

On Friday, a friend of mine passed - he was 62.  The funny (considering who he was) but sad thing was that his love of yum cha and chips is what probably ending his life way too soon.  But yesterday, after his funeral, I was scanning my mp3 for good songs about this, one that did hit the spot was 'The Garden' by Rush

Just want to say this album is awesome.  The craft of the music is extraordinary.  And I love the mix.

Wasn't very impressed with it, honestly.

Despite the guy's reputation, I actually do like quite a bit of his stuff. But the prose of this preview was very clunky. Lots of those characteristic "smart" adjectives tossed around, and no shortage of info-dumping.

I'll probably still get it, because it'd be fun to read alongside the album. Just not sure it'd be very good as a "stand-alone" book.

I never really cared for his Star Wars novels, so I didn't really have high expectations for the CA novel, but yeah the preview is kinda meh.

I guess you guys summed up my reactions. It just felt kind of forced to me.

I kind of had one of these moments :facepalm: when I read the lines:
"Do we have to watch the streamliners go by everyday?"
"It's too small, I can't stop thinking big."

I guess the incorporation of lyrics into the writing just seems too forced...

I think I'd rather have the manifestation of the concept left to my imagination rather then have everything spelled out in novel form.

I think that's why, as of now, I don't plan to read it  -- I never even read the preview except for the first sentence (although I pre-ordered the Gold Edition and will get the Audio book.) This is such a special record to me that I don't want to ruin it for myself.

As fate would have it, my son wants to read it so I might pick up a cheap copy somewhere.

Well, I think the audio book will be great because Neil is reading it, but the words alone in a book don't do much for me. Like I said too, it feels a bit forced.
