Damn, that was a very fine song.  Modern, fresh, melodic prog.  Gonna pick this album up for sure!!

Vocals are stellar. Simply amazing. Just like the guitar and bass parts. Same can't be said for the synths, seriously the only thing he plays are chords on a string patch. The synth solo was also extremely run of the mill. The piano part after the instrumental sections is cool though. The drumming is rather uninteresting, just standard beats. This annoys me a little during the instrumental section, more creative drumming could have really spiced that up. The lyrics sadly haven't improved much from their last album, judging by this song. Overall it's a good song, but it could've been much better.

What I love in this band are first and foremost the vox that is phenomenal and the melodies the guys find. The bassist is a monster and I love the playing of the guitarist on this track (which was not particularly the case for Mercy Falls). Overall, a very solid track.

Cool video, I havent been so interested in this band before but that video have changed my view on them a little, defenitely gonna give this album a chance after hearing this song. I thought the intro with the guitar was very nice.

Does anybody else feel like this would fit in well in Scenes from a Memory? It just has that feel to me. This song is a grower!

Eh.

The music just seems to be Prog Metal by numbers. Of course I have only heard the music video in that link. The vocals are ok, he's putting more poppy vocals over generic prog which is a cool change, but his voice alone is kinda boring and stereotypical. I just don't get any sense of anything out of this band. They seem like the kind you'd see opening for DT. Just a generic prog metal band that people forget about quickly.

I kind of agree with Adami.
It's not bad, but nothing about it jumps out and grabs me. I think one issue with this and many other generic-feeling prog metal songs is that they all seem to use the exact same guitar tones and keyboard patches.

I haven't listened to Mercy Falls all the way through, but aside from that woman's terrible voice acting, I liked what I heard.
