Presenting: Ping for iTunes

New thing from Apple though iTunes. Kind of like last.fm, it's got your own profile and artist profiles and you can follow people and find concerts and yeah I guess it's last.fm limited to iTunes only.

Why would I want to use this (or Last.fm) when I could just listen to the music I have on my computer?

Zune has been doing the Zune Social since 2006. My guess is that this will be just as useless.

Just tried downloading iTunes 10; turns out they dropped support for 10.4.  WTF Apple, WTF
