Faemir's now on holiday, thanks for the playlist.

So i'm leaving for the airport in 9 hours, and I have an 8gb mp3 player.

What do I put on it? Bear in mind that I like the majority of the 'big' bands on here, apart from Rush and Metallica.

If we say that the average album is V0 mp3 /Q7 Vorbis is 85mb, that gives me 94 albums.

I'm open to new music too!

I would doubly recommend the Everything Everything album, it came out yesterday and I just finished my first proper listen and WOW.

as for ulver albums, Svidd Negger, A Quick Fix of Melancholy [EP], Blood Inside and Shadows of the Sun are all excellent. They are all pretty different too, but the EP is probably the closest to the Perdition sound
on par with the anguish one would have from getting unconsensually bent over and buttloved.

Yeah my post was in the morning, then I went to Uni, and I'm still here till 9pm :lol so didn't see this till late. You will definitely enjoy this city. Pretty cultural and lots of great cafes/record shops/lan cafes and the like.  :metal

Oh sorry guys, I got it wrong, not going to Melbourne :(

However, i'm currently in Sydney and having great fun (been to Brisbane/sunshine coast before)

Neurosis are awesome.
Thrice are great.
Incubus are okay.

I will update when i've listened to more music.

Also, 41 degrees in Dubai stopover FTL
