I mostly buy physical CDs. My collection is only in the ~25 range, as I just started about a year ago. However, there are some times that I'll buy the digital versions, like bonus tracks. In fact, the past three new albums purchases (besides Iron Maiden's The Final Frontier) that I've made have all been digital, because (for some stupid reason) those versions came with a bonus track.
