On a side note: I've been lurking the Reach forums on the MLG site since CBus, and holy shit are they downers or what? It's either this is gonna ruin the game, or that is gonna break the game, or Bungie sucks, or, my favorite: "I know more about multiplayer map design and competitive balance than anybody else, ever."

As I was saying last night, 98% of people on that forum are completely ignorant or retarded. Reach will be the best thing to happen to Halo since Halo CE and I have no idea why they don't know that. The idea of creating maps from scratch will do wonders for MLG.

Also, isn't 343 Studios supposed to make the next Halo game? Since they are comprised of ex-Bungie employees who worked on HCE and H2, the direction the series will go in looks fairly promising, even though it's out of Bungie's hands. (at least I hope)

Yes, 343 is making the next Halo. There's no reason to think it's going to be bad. And I agree, the MLG community is godawful, but I need to satiate my fanboy-lust / anticipation somehow.

The sad thing is, it really used to be a nice community. Not nearly as nice as DTF, but it was good. This was back when I joined there in late 07, of course. It really all went downhill starting in 09, and when CursedLemon was banned, it all collapsed.
