I remember that song got so huge when it came out. I think I was in the seventh grade or something, and I hated it from the first time I heard it. It still comes on the radio at my work all the time, and I have to change the channel or I'll kill everyone there.

We are talking the WORST songs and this isn't even close to being labeled that.

I dunno, I share his hatred for it.  I remember when it came out too and I loathed it from day one.

Anyway "worst" in this context is tantamount to "personal least favorite", so really anything goes as long as the person despises it.

J not to get too personal but you sound prog biased. I understand that standard power ballad rock songs may drive you nuts but it is a well written song. IMO.

Never gotten that one before. :lol  Actually I'm basically a prog noob, having only known about the genre for a couple years now, and I only like a very limited number of prog bands.  I think there are lots of conventionally written rock songs that are great, this one is just really lame IMO.

Don't worry about getting too personal, I can take it. :metal :biggrin:

The shared hate for this song makes me happy.  It has often come on when I'm at work etc. I can't contain myself, "I HATE this song," I yell.  I always get a response like, "Why, this is a nice song."  I simply look at them in disgust.
