I almost agreed with you until you said this... Just, no.
Ke$ha is another example of a decent pop artist.

She's better than Miley Cyrus... I mean she's not Lady Gaga but she's at least better than half the crud that's out there.  I define KeSha as like mediocre pop.

I see little difference between their music.
Cyrus' voice is more manly.

I do not know any Bieber songs.

All I know from Cyrus is "Party in the USA". Can be enjoyable inside the right contexts. But there is no denying Cyrus cannot sing for shit.

Good.

When Bieber's voice changes, which it's doing right now, his career is gone.

You don't think there is any chance he could pull a Timberlake?

Obviously Timberlake's balls had already dropped when he joined N'Sync, unlike Bieber now, so the comparison may not be entirely fair.

P.S. Timberlake is another example of a good pop artist.

And Paramore, Lights, and Au Revoir Simone, just to name a few.

I don't think I would consider any of those bands pop.

I've learned to accept the fact that pop artists like this will come and go, usually last 3-5 years (at the most) and become really popular for a while, but are ultimately forgettable. There will always be a standout artist that MIGHT survive over time (I'm not sure, but I feel as if Lady Gaga might be one of those pop artists, not because her music is extremely standout but because she's marketably eccentric) the ultimate example of a great one, (like him or not) is Michael Jackson. It's just something that's always happened.

Pop music isn't crap.  There's good pop music and there's crap pop music.
Justin Beiber and Myley Cyrus = crap pop music

This.
Lady Gaga = good pop music

Also, Gaga writes her own music.  Myley and Justin do not.  And they can't even sing that well.  Gaga can, and so can many other pop artists that don't get HALF the notereity that those two poser artists get.  Ke$ha is another example of a decent pop artist, she's not nearly as good as Gaga but at least she writes her own music as far as I know.
LOL nevermind.

I mean Gaga, I'll try to understand but can't. Kesha? Seriously? According to Wiki, she's not even credited as a writer on half of her songs. Classic Madonna is pretty much as good as pop gets. Nearly ALL the pop out today sucks hard, except for thsoe occasional nice sounding pop rock bands, some of which I think Sigz mentioned.

Also, isn't Cyrus only like 16? What's she doing being half naked on stage and shit? I feel like I'm doing something illegal when I see pictures of her like this on the internet.

It's legal for You, not Meee. It's all about the jb you're expecting me to taaaaap!

KeSha is better than Lady Gaga cause she's sexier and that's the only real factor that's used to judge a female pop star in our current times even if everybody would like to pretend that it's not.
I like KeSha, her music and style says "I enjoy my slutty life style and like to brag about it", I like the honesty in that, please don't talk to me about music, that is not remotely the issue here.
Miley Cyrus however is slightly different that those girls, it's a child star that looks like she would have a worse fate than most previous child stars have because she's in this time and predictably it will be over after a sex tape or some sort of similar scandal on the internet which leads to disappearance and alcohol/drug addiction, rehab, an unsuccessful comeback, possibly another cheesy reality show about her life struggle, disappearance again then death by drug overdose in a hotel room.
I wouldn't want somebody with 18 kids to mow my damn lawn, based on a longstanding bias I have against crazy fucks.
