Well, time to see if this little idea will take off. The goal of this is to unite our board with music, encourage discussion, and to just have a good time with music. Every Saturday and Sunday at anywhere from 3-7 o clock (whenever we get enough active people to participate) we will come together and listen to one album at once. Hopefully this can broaden musical horizons, and encourage people to listen to all sorts of different music. Even if you are not a fan of the genre or band, give it a listen, who knows, maybe you will become a fan.

I would join this thing too. The problem is I'm from Bulgaria and maybe the time zones are different... Here now is 10:13 PM. Can we change the hours so that it'll be comfortable for all of us somehow...?

Yeah, it's the summer for me some time doesn't matter for me. I was thinking maybe 5 - 7 EST so it wouldn't interfere with peoples work. What would work out with you on EST time?

I'm going to try to pick a nice first album that many of us might own, just so we can get off to a nice start. After that I think I'll have a pool of around 3-5 albums we can vote on.

5 - 7 EST - here again is night but most of the people in this forum are not part of Eastern Europe so it should be more comfortable to you as a majority.

Alright, I will try to do this on weekends so it wont interfere with most peoples work schedules.

Perfect! I think that 1 to 3 EST is perfect in the weekends - if it's alright then I will join the listening group..

Maybe we can start the thing tomorrow if everything is ready?

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, there is a lag between the host and the viewers, so it might not be ideal for this, unless you don't mind being several seconds ahead of everyone else.

That's still much more in time any everyone just trying to hit play at the same time.

I got the channel set up, now we just need to decide on a time to do this. Anyone have a preferred time schedule, maybe we can do this every Sunday and if we get enough people do it another day of the week.
