I saw Dave Lombardo, but I was asking myself where was the rest of them.

Some of my friends were there, and I would have certainly been there as well if I haven't been studying for an exam so hard these days. Truly historical. Seeing Dave Mustaine hugging Lars and Kirk makes me think the end of the world is near.

Seeing Dave hug Kirk and Lars was really something. I hope this Big Four encourages more collaboration between these bands, namely Megadeth and Metallica.

Greatest thing I have ever seen. Does anyone know why Lombardo was the only one from Slayer out there?

I also wonder why Lombardo was the only one from Slayer there. I mean I understand why Kerry King wouldn't (He's an asshole) but what about Hanneman and Araya? Strange.

Maybe Kerry King convince them not to, your guess is as good as mine.

That was pretty cool seeing Hetfield, Mustaine, and Scott Ian all next to each other on stage playing at the same time.

Dave's part of the vocals sounded kinda bad though, and that's compared to Hetfield's part, which is kind of surprising to me.

Yeah. Het owned him vocally throughout the 80s, mostly/completely during the 90s, so it seemed that eventually Het's tendency to go balls out on strength/pitch would've let Dave catch up a lil but sadly it seems that hasn't happened.

Neither of which were as bad as joeys.

Also, they should have taken turns on the kit, rather than the other guys playing snares all slipknot like.

Mustaine's vocals were the best of the bunch, they were just a little quiet. I was quite surprised at how Joey sounded though. That was pathetic.

 :|

I thought it was terrible.

And man, Kirk still can only barely play that tapping line.

Other than that, cool performance. And yeah, James totally smoked the other singers. Dave always sounds like one of those boxes you turn around and they make a cow sound.

It's refreshing to see Metallica playing with drummers who can keep a steady beat.
"Who are these swine? These flag-sucking half-wits who get fleeced and fooled by stupid little rich kids like George Bush? They are the same ones who wanted to have Muhammad Ali locked up for refusing to kill gooks. They speak for all that is cruel and stupid and vicious in the American character. They are the racists and hate mongers among us; they are the Ku Klux Klan. I piss down the throats of these Nazis. And I am too old to worry about whether they like it or not. Fuck them."

Even better when I saw it in theaters.
