Damn, did nobody ever get anything? I mean, no new material isn't exactly something new for KM, but no new material when it was promised and people are donating for it is a little bit bad.

He released only one song and got paid for it. But nothing else has been released and nobody else's credit card has been charged. Kind of disappointed. Maybe he'll release something as soon as his med school semester is over.

Ah, okay. I wasn't sure how patreon worked. If noone's been charged, then it's excusable. Still disappointing, though. After all, new Chroma Key music would have been great.

How is the new song?  Chroma Key is hit and miss for me.  The first two albums (and his unofficial before that) have some of my favorite songs.  But the CK after that was just meh for me.  Is there a 10 second snippet somewhere?

If you enjoyed You Go Now, I'm pretty sure you'll like both of these Patreon songs as well. Mission is a good chillout song, while Bonewalk is more up-tempo and groovy.

Bonewalk is figgin' groovy. Great song that is more upbeat than most CK songs while still sounding like classic CK.

I agree!  I particularly liked this one!

I must say though, I'd love to one day hear a song with Kevin's vocals and JUST piano, similar to Peter Gabriel's "The Drop."

The new one sounds pretty modern and not like traditional CK, but I really like it.

Mission is a really solid CK tune.  So nice to see Kevin slowly pumping out new music again.  Twas a quiet handful of years following OSI4!

Also, great job on the video, noxon!

EDIT: Nevermind, found it on Facebook.  I looked on Twitter, lol.

Yeah he's got some seriously amazing songs put out so far. I really can't imagine how awesome the full experience is going to be. I went from being very unhappy about supporting him initially to over the moon.  :lol

And that is so great to see Portnoy reaching out to Kev, super good feels there.

Yeah him not really releasing much in the beginnings of when he first put up the page, is a reason why I didn't join. I'm really glad I did though.

The new song "Landslide" has to be my favorite of the bunch so far. Classic Kevin Moore groove and lyrics. Love it!

So I'm still unclear on how Patreon works.  Basically you pay 3 bucks a month and you get a song whenever its posted.  For a while, Kevin wasnt posting stuff so you were paying 30 bucks for nothing?  Do I have that correct?

Now I see he's picked up with the production.  I've heard the four songs he put on youtube and they are exactly what you'd expect from Chroma Key.  Awesome, trippy, moody music.  Would be glad to pay the standard $1.29 or whatever for a download of each of those songs.

I see there's a lot posted on Patreon that he hasn't put on youtube.  Would love to download all of those but if I do that subscription thing do I get downloads of all the songs or just each new one he releases?  Do I have to pay 30-40 bucks for those songs when we used to get an album full of songs for the standard 15 bucks?

No, you only pay if he posts something.

Once you subscribe, you only start paying the monthly then and there and still have access to everything he's posted and of course anything he will continue to, and again, if two months go by and he doesn't post anything, you pay nothing for those two months; when he posts something, you'll be charged with whatever tier you decide to pay.

Ah ok. So if I join now I'll be able to download all of his past songs he posted? Even if I only pat the three bucks monthly or whatever? Or would I have to pay 3 bucks per song?

Only 3 bucks and you get everything.

All of this reminds me I haven't checked out what he's posted since I am already supporting him, so got the 9 demos he's posted so far, will do some listening later today.

They're demos, but they do sound good. Its not like a tape recorder in a basement quality, and they're all properly mixed.
