In all seriousness, here is one.

It's live, and Kip's vocals are too low (and he's having a rough night singing-wise), but the guitar is nice and clear.

This is two songs: "Pull Me Under" and then "Blind Revolution Mad."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTKPNNBg7hk

"Blind Revolution Mad" starts at the 3:38 mark, although it is the shortened version. The album version has an acoustic intro that doesn't work when you play the song right after Pull Me Under (you'll see why).

And I can't help it, but here is one more.

"Rainbow in the Rose"

from the same taper.

I think this version is defective!   It cuts off at the end.  >:(

I couldn't find Blind Revolution Mad on YouTube except for live versions or acoustic versions. I'll look again. And the fact we must use YouTube really makes things difficult.

You know, TAC...I could just hook you up with some tunes. And let you listen and decide.

I think that's more in line with TAC's liking.  I think he'd like IV.

Agreed. I think he'd like IV and Karma, both. Karma is a little more aggressive, but IV is a bit more complex and mid-tempo.

Not your fault.  I can't find a version of Pull Me Under anywhere that doesn't cut off.

Is "Seventeen" just kind of understood by Winger fans? Because I quite enjoy that song (especially the solo) and it hasn't been mentioned. Oh well, here it is anyway.

When Winger first came out all my music friends loved it.  I knew of Kip in Alice and Rod in the Dregs so I fell in love with the CD.  They were better musicians than other bands out at the time and that drew me to them.  Kirby, 17 was a BIG MTV hit and the video showed every few hours so some fans gravitate away from the hits. I still love it.

Thanks to a show I loved, Bevis & Butthead, Winger's cred too a major hit.  They were made out to be the poster boys to what was wrong with music(hair metal in general) and kids were looking for bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden ect. But they were light years ahead of most of the other bands.  I'm glad they got back together.

Their skills as musicians are incredible, and extremely underrated, possibly the most skilled in the genre and at the time.

Rod Morgenstein also has worked with the mighty Dixie Dregs and is very good friends and worked quite a few times with Jordan Rudess.  Reb as we know is playing second fiddle in Whitesnake and filled in very comfortably with Dokken at one point.  The live at the sun DVD with him is fantastic.  Jon Roth is also not utilized very well in Winger IMO.  He's a killer lead player, check out his work on the new Giant album.

Anyone who is a Winger fan should also check out The Mob.  A band Reb started with Doug Pinnick on vocals and Kelly Keagy of Night Ranger on drums.  Kip also played bass and backing vocals.  They have only had one album but what an amazing album it is!

I was wondering how hot it was out there.  Were they as good, better, or less than the other bands you've seen today?

It was near 90 with no shade and next to no clouds.

Winger was on par with the others. Other bands impressed me more, despite Winger being good.

Girl in the avatar? No idea, this time.
