I only have Drawing Circles, but it's rather good. I will eventually check out the rest of their stuff. Hopefully they come down to Australia soon  :tup
on par with the anguish one would have from getting unconsensually bent over and buttloved.

Awesome band, my favorite song is Messengers. It's irresistibly groovy.

Sounds a hell of a lot like SikTh, with some Meshuggah riffing in there.  I gotta check these guys out.

I love this band, have all their material and saw them live a little while ago. I heard somewhere that the singer left recently though, haven't checked to see if that's confirmed though

With 'Drawing Circles' and 'Silhouettes', this band released some of the most ground-breaking progressive (in the true sense of the word) metal music of the first decade of the 21st century. Truly the ultimate band! I wish them the very best of luck in crafting their 4th album. They've got a hell of a track record to live up to!

Who doesn't?  :D

I feel like I've said it a million times before, but I still prefer their debut
Polars. I know the vocals are weird, but for some reason I think they
fit the music better than the generic hardcore vocals of the other two
albums and I think their old songs were better and more in-your-face, too.

Another bump to say that yes, the new album is fantastic! Seeing these guys live tonight with The Ocean and Aliases, thought I was going to be going somewhere else but (un)luckily that didn't pan out, and there were still tickets available so I got one last night! Pretty pumped.

So I ended up getting a ticket for free since my friend's band was supporting and he was feeling generous :D

The line-up was pretty good - Textures, The Ocean, Aliases and Sectioned (my friend's band). It was a good gig overall but the sound was TERRIBLE. The venue is known for that though.

Damn, the sound in London was pretty great, shame it sucked for you. I had a hell of a time at that gig, met some awesome people who had also been to the Devin Townsend shows last month, got totally rat-arsed and hung out with Aliases. Good times. I forgot how much I like Textures music until I listened to their discog again to get into the mood for the show.

Listening to Drawing Circles right now. This is pretty much right up my alley. Kind of reminds me a bit of The Ocean without the whole primal edge and a bit more Meshuggah influence. I like.  :metal
Orion....that's the one with a bunch of power chords and boringly harsh vocals, isn't it?
