I took it as making fun of those whom make fun of or are exasperated by the elderly since it shows an elderly person born no earlier than a current 25 year old even if optimistically looking at tech progress and showing how someone close to our age or very likely much younger will end up an old fart being secretly ridiculed behind his back even though the tech he's using seems space age to current young adults. Basically, no matter what generation's technology you use and no matter who you are, you're just gonna end up old and those younger than you will mock you for using what you grew up with and are comfortable with.
