That's my Android phone, still waiting on the 2.1 OTA update. Which should come this month.

I own a Nexus One. Just waiting for the 2.2 FroYo OTA update (Nexus One gets it first). I am tempted to manually update it but it's a bit risky, apparently.

And I read it's not the complete FroYo.

You're also suppose to the Flash Player support before the year is out. I am jealous!

I think it is. It just doesn't have all the features mentioned at the Google I/O conference because they're not scheduled until the Gingerbread update.

I think the Froyo update brings Flash though :S

Two Android phones with a fair bit of buzz around them (that aren't out yet):

I've heard a lot about the Evo 4G, a looooot! But to me it looks like a modified HTC HD2.

I want the Incredible so badly. GADGET LUST!

the Evo 4G looks neat too, but apparently it can't go a quarter of a day without needing to be charged.

Yeah, that's probably if you're using 4G etc.

I can't imagine how badly that rapes your battery life.

Thats why my phone (Samsung GT-E2120) is the best phone ever. It goes a 8 days before you need to plug it in!
Alright, so its got nothing going for it in every other way but still, bet your phone doesn't have a "fake call" feature so that you can pretend to have a phone call from a withheld number to get out of awkward social situations!

But on this app you can also program the fake call, so if you get caught off guard you can take it out program it for 2-3 minutes later and put it back in your pocket.

Oh, I see. I had a Sidekick before, which has an excellent keyboard, so when I got this one I was kinda bummed out.

The Samsung Galaxy models have some fucking intense specs as well.

Really good looking phone. I'm thinking of getting it before I go back to uni...unless anything better comes out in the mean time.

My phone's one isnt as programmable as that. If the keypad is locked you press the down button 4 times and 10 secs later it starts ringing. If the keypad is unlocked you just hold the down key for a couple of seconds and it will ring 10 secs later which is just the right amount of time to put it in your pocket and not look suspicious.

The HTC Desire is delicious!!! But I want to check that list again once the new iPhone is out in the market.

I was adamant in changing my BlackBerry. How developed is the general mobile App world? Because the lovely BB Messenger is gonna be soon a thing of the past since new applications, like 'WhatsApp', are going to replace it. Data Plan is the new deal, and now not only BlackBerry and iPhone are dominating the market.

Still, I really want to communicate easily with my friends, and that's why I love the BB Messenger.

Android is actually ahead of the iPhone in the US market these days:

I had read that, they also surpass the iPhone OS completely with FroYo.

@ Emin: Is the BB Messenger the one that works with people who only have BB's or is that the Microsoft MSN?

What about emails? Are BlackBerry's still winning that fight of being extremely efficient in that matter?

@Dimitrus: Yes. But like I told you, if you have the WhatsApp application you can communicate with anyone who has a Data Plan. The only problem I've encountered is the "push" feature. So many messages are delivered like many hours later.
