You might like this DTF. Purple Spiral project are a band from my hometown. I know the guitarist and he's a really cool guy who plays guitar better than anyone I've seen.

Just heard some of their songs. The lack of keyboard makes the songs sound a bit awkward (at least for me). All of the songs are guitar-centered, and although the riffs are epic, I don't find their songs very impressive. Probably because of my lack of understanding of "grunge" or other reasons.

The vocal is ok. I like it. Among the songs I listened, Elegy seems to be the best. I can say they have potential, but I don't think I'll listen to them until they get a nice keyboardist to really put some atmosphere.

Lol, from Llantwit, but spend most my time in Cardiff and Penarth from work or whatever :P
Yeah, I was more of a fan of Liquid Distortion. Was in Bridgend college on music tech course same year as those guys were in music practice. Those guys were groovy as fuck. Their drummer Sam is in a Maiden tribute and originals band with me, we gigged with Liquid Distortion and Kinky Wizards a couple of times around that time. :tup
