Hi there,

Yesterday I went to see Transatlantic here in Holland and let me tell you it was beyond awesome!!!
More than 3 and half hours we got to see and hear one of the greatest progbands live on stage.
Everybody had a great time... band, audience... you know what I mean.

This is definitely one the best concerts I've ever seen and I've seen DT 14 times already.

I could go on and on but I won't, this week I made something for MP.
I really can't go into detail but all will be revealed very soon I guess.
Mike (Mabrown) and I had some contact this week thru email and said if
I could make something for MP. I send the file to Mabrown and told me
he will send it thru to MP.

Me and a friend of mine went out for a couple of drinks after the TA
show and went back to the hotel that we booked for the night.
This morning we went back home tired and satisfied.
Got home, switched on my computer and checked my emails. I got an email back
from Mabrown and he said that Mike loved what I did and he
told me (this was yesterday) MP is going to leave 2 aftershow passes
for me after the TA show.

Damn!!!... can you believe this?!!!

Well let me first say thank you MP for the kind gesture and sorry I wasn't there.
If only I knew this a day sooner, and ofcourse this isn't Mabrowns fault,
if there is anybody to blame it's me!... Next week I'm going to get an iPhone
with a internet bundle... thats for sure!

Last year when I saw DT in Gelsenkirchen I had backstage passes then.
Unfortunately MP didn't show up after the show but I got to meet Jordan and James
and that was great nothingtheless. Oh well, guess I have to wait till 2012.

MP, we will meet.... (James voice).... SOMEDAY SOOOOOOOON...

After I put this thread on MP.com.... Mike responded with a pm to me:

Hey Steve,
Sorry you didnt get the message in time....
I promise you backstage passes for the next MP show you attend. (just email MaBrown a few days in advance..)
I'd like to thank you in person for the great jobs you've done for me!
Thanks again for the latest design and I promise to see you next time! : )

That is awesome Steve, and definitely shows just how much Mike cares about the fans.

He was so much fun at the Transatlantic gig last in London last night!

Wow, that's pretty cool. I've always thought a musician contacting one of his fans personally was a myth most of the time. But really, too bad.
