14 years ago today we lost a great musician

Back in 1996, Kevin Gilbert died on this day.  I'm not the Kevin Gilbert authority here, but I've recently discovered his genius and can only imagine what he would have done if he could have joined us for a few more orbits around the Sun.

yes. I shall be KG intensive much of this week. The Dio passing kind of threw me off today, as I nearly forgot until this evening.

Definitely if you haven't heard his music, namely his 3 essential works: Toy Matinee, The Shaming of the True and Thud, go ahead and give them a listening.
