New Korn if anyone gives a fuck;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nq9j1qkj2Vc&feature=youtu.be

This is actually pretty damn good.  Hopefully it's not a false representation of the album, this is like Follow the Leader style, good shit.

Not a big Korn fan, but I liked that song. Good stuff.

This was good. Might buy my first Korn album in 14 years.

I'm not a Korn fan. I like a few songs here and there.

That sounded most like Untouchables era for me.

All I know is that "Hater" is a terrible song and I don't regret not waiting for the tour edition at all. And yeah, I agree. Paradigm Shift had no staying power for me at all.

Hater is a great song. Not very Korn-y but still a really good song.

Agreed. I like this song, seems like they're trying their luck with the tribal Freak on a Leash vocals again! Which makes me think they're straying away from the Skrillex crap and reinventing their old roots again, kinda.

Thought the same thing.  Ifucking hope so, I hope this song isn't a false representation of the album.

I guess you guys are right, it is more Untouchables than Follow the Leader. Great song, production sounds strong too.

Never.

I hope the new album's good. That wacko dubstep album's the only thing I've liked by them since See You On The Other Side, and that's damn depressing.

New song called "Insane", it's on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-zb4C_k7Ek

Fuck, this is going to be the first time in a long time I'll be enjoying a new Korn album, this is really remeniscent of their old stuff. Everyone who has had their doubts about Korn over the past few years but has been a fan in the past, please check this out.

Not as strong as the first song released, but still another step in the right direction.  Definite purchase for me.

Me too. That single has a nice blend of LIP/Issues/Untouchables/TALITM. I love it.

With Head back in the picture, it makes a huge difference. And it shows that Head was the main writer in the band, look at the albums since he left.

Anyone listened to the new album? Korn was one of my favorite bands when I was 13 and I stopped listening to/caring about them a long time ago, but I'm gonna give the new album a chance.

I'm gonna pick it up today.  They are also a band that meant a lot to me when I was around the same age and was obsessed with them.  They are certainly not what they were, but what I've heard sounds promising from this record.  They are still a band I'll purchase new albums from regardless.

Listening to it right now. It's not bad at all, but it's reminding me how monotonous nu metal can be.

New album is good, same old late 90s Korn, but it all kinda sound the same after a while.  Like Weezer.

Can't find the deluxe edition anywhere. I didn't even use my $2 coupon at Best Buy because none of the copies had the bonus tracks. Weird.

Here To Stay has a great riff. And I love the disco beat in metal songs.

Picked up the deluxe edition and have listened to the first 6 songs.  It's really very strong, but does sound the same and isn't anything new at all, but I didn't expect that.  Very strong old style sounding Korn though. Hopefully the rest of the album can at least match the quality of the first 6 songs.

They were criticized for that when Got The Life came out, but I liked it, they were blending more styles in.  Fans had to get used to that.

That's a good one.

It makes me wonder what makes the Japanese so special that a band has to make another song. Only they can hear

All right, I eventually made my way to the Korn Reddit to figure this thing out, and... Roadrunner didn't release the deluxe version in America. At all. There's a deluxe box set shipping to people who pre-ordered on Nov. 20, but otherwise, nothing. Great fucking job, Roadrunner. *slow clap*

EDIT: And now it appears we will get the Deluxe, but due to an error no Best Buy is getting it until Nov. 20. So that's what they meant. Oy. I'll just hold on to my coupon and wait.

Didn't realise Korn had a new album out today.  Just sampled a couple of tracks and it sounds very promising.  I will probably pick up a copy on the weekend.
