That new track is pretty damn good.  Kiko sounds wonderful, and Dave's effort on this is pretty decent too.

Pretty cool song. Prefer the first song they released to this one but its still good stuff. Promising for the album overall.

Honestly I feel the same way about that song as I do pretty much every Megadeth song. There's some nice playing in it but nothing about it grabs me and makes me want to listen to it again.

Great song.  The album is getting great reviews and most fans that have listened to it say it is their best in a long time.

Still waiting for mine to arrive but all 4 songs that I have heard are killer

Heck yeah.  Hope it arrives quick

I ordered through Best Buy for the 2 bonus studio tracks (and the VR head seat)  It is only $14.99 now.  The regular version on Best Buy with 2 bonus tracks is only $11.99.

I am always a sucker for bonus tracks.  Will probably order the Japanese version for their bonus track eventually too.

Should be here Friday.

I feel like I need this album to hit me right away. Their last couple albums did not impress me. Next week's releases, DT and Avantasia could push the new Megadeth to the back burner for months, so it needs to make a great first impression.

https://bravewords.com/reviews/megadeth-dystopia

A 7.5 is the lowest review score that I have seen for the album.   The vast majority of scores are around a 8.5 to 9.5  out of 10 .  The same place loved Iron Maiden's latest.  While I love Maiden...it is hard for me to sit through their latest.  It is all samey to me.

I just heard the new Megadeth this morning (minus the Best Buy bonus tracks)  It is really good.  Most fans are going to be very happy with it.

Yeah, it's really good. Easily up there with Endgame as the best modern Megadeth album, if not better.

Great album - second only to RIP for me.  I'll give Dave his due - the chance of any of his rivals producing an album that I'll rank Top 2 or 3 in their discog at this point is close enough to zero.

Excellent album.  If anyone is picking it up I encourage you to get the Best Buy version for the 2 bonus studio tracks.  Both are really good and should have been included on the album.

Great start to 2016.  Hopefully Dream Theater's new album is awesome too.

I'm liking this album very much. For me, their best since The System Has Failed. Never got the hype for the shredfest that is Endgame. This album's a shredfest too, but the solos are way cooler and more musical. The songwriting's good, too. A worthy modern-day take on the sound that made Megadeth so special - Rust in Peace, Countdown to Extinction and a little bit of pop sensibility in there as well (The Emperor).

Megadeth's late career material has been up and down, but this album rocks. Gotta give credit where credit is due  :metal

And I am digging the album cover too. Very cool.

Same here.  To me Endgame lacked melody and I even preferred Thirteen over it.  I love Megadeth when they use a combination of speed, melody, and heaviness.

I think they did right with Dystopia.  In my opinion the 2 bonus tracks from Best Buy add a lot to the album

I really liked the album. I'm surprised that Dave had it in him to create something that almost equals his best work after Super Collider. I hate that it ended with a cover, though.

I am not surprised because they made some killer albums after Risk also (which I actually like but it was weak for a Megadeth album.)

I appreciate that Megadeth (and Dream Theater) keep putting out so much quality music.  Even if they have a miss here and there you better believe 2 years later they will likely make up for it.

All of this.

This is definitely an upper tier Megadeth album. Very strong with great performances all the way around.
