Well, yeah, but you are strange, so...

Actually bosk, I thought the same thing as TAC.

To the farthest boundary of eternity
Where I, the Cosmic Sea

Seems like this song has a pulse at least. That's a good sign. As long as the rest of the album follows suit we'll be fine. I just hope Mustaine figures out that the Endgame formula is what he does best and stops trying to go commercial every other 5 years.
Orion....that's the one with a bunch of power chords and boringly harsh vocals, isn't it?

It's a fine enough song.  Very Megadeth, but doesn't show Kiko off very well.

Vocals are... I don't know, not raw enough? Dave shouldn't try to hide his signature horrible singing. Most fans are used to it and like it.
The intro - great at first, but then too long and repetitive.
I sorta like the overall dynamic and groove. Need to hear another song.

Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

I know its a good song at least but I just can't seem to get into it or really excited about it. I think its cause of the intro. I feel like I would like it better if it started off with that bass riff part instead. Will check out the album when it comes out of course.

Guess I'll have to listen again. Sounded like one long chug on one note to me. Liked the bass intro though and the little guitar bits. I wasn't a huge Megadeath fan until the albums Megadeath fans hate - Risk, Cryptic Writings, Super Collider... This sounded like the earlier, pre Marty Friedman albums to me.

Cryptic Writings is amazing.

Cryptic Writings was a huge disappointment for me after the amazing Youthanasia, and then it went downhill fast.

Let's see what this new one brings.
Must've been Kwyji sending all the wrong songs.   ;D

Cool cover.  I don't like how the sword touches the "M" in Megadeth, but otherwise it's neat.  And I like the digital font for the album title.

Oops.  Well, here there is: https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/hear-megadeths-brand-new-song-fatal-illusion-right-now/

That article has been updated, cause that's where I got the first pic from.  Weird.  Slightly different colouring too.

Endgame wasn't all that long ago. I know this dude can make decent tunes if he puts in the effort.

Already better than anything on Super Collider. First part was a bit long for me but the late half of the song is great. Hope the rest of the album gets as good as this.

I would really like to know why Dave chose the Harbour Bridge to feature so prominently in the cover.  Nice touch for us Aussies.

LOVE the cover!  And I guess the NOMACs on the cover confirm that this is actually a collaboration between Megadeth and DT, and that Dystopia is the prequel and disk #1 of The Astonishing.  I am duly astonished.  :omg:  ( <--bosk being astonished)

If you take out "DT" from MegaDeth you get :

Mega He...

:omg: I literally have no idea what this means.

He Mage ? Dave is a wizard ?

Jordan plus wig = Mustaine ?  :omg:
