I said mysterious vague things like "the origins lie in the untold reaches of time."  Which was true, since I didn't know them.  Vlasto Day was already a thing when I arrived here (er, not here, but you know what I mean).  I was never privy to the details of how it started, just what the significance of the day is.

It wasn't toying.  Sorry if you took it that way.
