What UHM said. Come on Bosk, you know I lived in Florida. Disney may have been a part of it but it was made by MGM. Believe me, I looked all over Magic Kingdom and never found him. I still want to meet the guy in the Roger suit just to get a picture.
Regarding the ride: Yeah, actually you're right and I was mistaken. I thought they had it there as well, but I guess I was thinking of the Barnstormer. Anyway, they have it at Disneyland and Disney Tokyo.
But as far as the movie, it was a joint between Disney and Touchstone, and they elected to use the Touchstone label only because Katz felt the finished product was just a bit to risque to carry the more kid-friendly Disney label. But Disney was an equal partner all the way through in terms of finances, creative control, and every other aspect of the film.
