Do you hate this new wave of trendy (blank)-core bands?
« on: April 28, 2010, 10:27:47 PM »
Well I do.  So me and some friends made this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2ythoCimJw

My friend had to make a video project for one of his classes, so we came up with this idea for a fake band to make fun of all the technocore breakdown bands (Attack Attack, brokencyde, etc).  So I threw a song together and recorded it, then we made a video.  There's plenty of crabcore moves, breakdowns, autotune, hell I even threw in some dubstep wobble for good measure.  I figured DTF would get a laugh out of it.

Once something starts to become trendy, it becomes even more annoying then it may have been in the beginning.
I felt its length in quite a few places.

In the band scenes, I'm far left with the black guitar.  For the monopoly parts (don't ask why the hell we're playing monopoly  :lol) I'm second from the right, black hurley shirt

He needed a story board to go with it.  So I don't know where the monopoly came from.  The song is about hardcore bands and the new KFC sandwich.

My favorite part of the video is just that the band is called Djent Reznor. Pure genius.

WTF? :lol

I love the excess exclamation marks in the band name and that random shot of the two guys nodding heroically with the money flying around them.

I hate core music. Especially this pop-techno breed. The way I fight it is by creating my own band to mock it, that being Spring Break Shark Attack. We will be taking the musical scene by storm. Soon people all over will be doing the Shark Attack, the next step in dance evolution, molded off the likes of the Macarena. It is sure to be a hot mess.

Spring Break Shark Attack was hilarious.  We should go on tour together.
