Album with the most songs
« on: April 28, 2010, 12:27:25 PM »
I was just thinking about this (I have no idea why), but what album out there has the most individual songs? The most I can think of are Fantomas and Suspended Animation by Fantomas, which both have 30 tracks. Any ones with more out there?

Well, my copy of Tool's Undertow has 69 tracks. 59 of them being worthless, empty spaces that found their way onto the disc, and are just there to piss me off when popping the disc into any computer or CD player.

Does that count?
I felt its length in quite a few places.

I remember looking at the back of some Steve Vai album once and it had a lot of tracks. I don't remember how many though.

Yep, I guess that's the place to look. I've seen grindcore albums (when bored and browsing through the Metal Archives) with >50 songs or something.

A small pressing of 300 records were originally released on Stridecore Records (Stridecore Records #1). Anal Cunt reasoned that few people would buy such a record. They also did not want an image on the scene, such that, all of their music was purely noise. Nevertheless, the record attracted more attention than the band was expecting
