() has never hit me as hard as others. Still like it a lot, but I'm more of an Agaetis Byrjun fanboy.

() is better than Agaetis Byrjun but both are awesome.

Quick! recommend me a lot of post-rock bands the only ones I have in my library are as follows:
Sigur Ros
GY!BE
Explosions in the Sky
This Will Destroy You
Mono
Yndi Halda
Grace Cathedral Park
65daysofstatic (they count I guess?)

need more post-rock.
also I only have one disc by Explosions and 65daysofstatic (The Earth is not a Cold Dead Place and One Time for All Time, respectively) so which by these bands should I check out next?

Listened to that Russian Circles album and it was very good. () was also amazing. I must be more of a fan of post-rock than I thought.

Tunnel Blanket is incredible. "Little Smoke" captured everything I loved about seeing the band live.

Tunnel Blanket is awesome indeed, the self-titled took some time to click, but this album just blew me away right from the first spin.

Bump.

Mogwai really deserve more attention on this forum, they are one of the best bands in the scene (IMO), and they have made so much fantastic music.

I Know You Are, But What Am I? (especially the live-version from Special Moves) is one of my favorite Post-Rock songs of all time, same goes for White Noise.

They're alright, they almost seem like a one hit wonder with Malabar Front, all their other stuff just pales in comparison.

Red Sparrowes are great though, I saw them live a while back, good show.

Red Sparowes as well.

I haven't really listened much to ITTCT?, but they are on my "need to check out"-list.
Not really sure where to start though.

As for Red Sparowes, I've heard their album "The Fear Is Excruciating, But Therein Lies The Answer" once or so, I enjoyed it.

On another note, the new Mogwai EP is really good!  :hefdaddy

How about GIRAFFES? GIRAFFES! everybody?

I think they're more Math Rock but it's very post-rock-esque.
They originally gripped me with their song titles, so I might as well post them here, maybe you'll get interested too:

The first two tracks of the album "More skin with milk-mouth"

When The Catholic Girls Go Camping, The Nicotine Vampires Rule Supreme.

I Am S/H(im)e[r] As You Am S/H(im)e[r] As You Are Me And We Am I And I Are All Our Together: Our Collective Consciousness‚ Psycogenic fugue

Soaking up some tunes from Hymn to the Immortal Wind by Mono. Damn they're one of the best post-rock bands I've heard so far, post-rock and classical are like kindred spirits
