I have to agree here, Volk. After that moment, Death Note took a bit of a dive. The last three, four episodes are all awesome, though (especially the last).

Also, I think Fullmetal Alchemist - Brotherhood might be my favourite Anime so far. Seriously, it has everything that a good anime needs imo: Great plot, great characters and a nice balance between serious and those classic humourous elements. I don't even feel like watching other Anime right now, since I'm in doubt whether I could enjoy them as much as I did with FMA.

FMA is my second favourite, but Baccano! is my favourite, by quite a way.

If you like Baccano!, you seriously need to check out Durarara!!. Written by the same guy, occuring in the same universe, and I would say it was the best anime out this year (and easily in my top 10 ever).

Just checking in to say I'm more than halfway finished with Code Geass. Through all my time watching the series, I have managed to retain one memorable moment that will haunt me everywhere I go. It can be described in two words:

I assume you mean halfway through the first season? Otherwise, damn, get a life  :lol

Hetalia is sorta funny, I found the manga way funnier than the show, but I hope you know a lot about history and international relations if you intend to understand Hetalia.

Zakuro...I couldn't get through the first episode. It was PAINFUL.

You don't like Zakuro?  I'm watching the first episode right now and  i love it.  It reminds me a lot of Ouran, so that must be why xD

Well, the very beginning was cool. Sorta creepy, well animated, cool fight. So that's good. Then suddenly we have these nazi-looking dudes who are forming this team, and so they go to this...shrine full of cat-girls, and one of them is a tsundere, and she is into the blonde nazi. And then rather than going all "Ah, mou!" and being all tsuntsun and endearing herself to me, she gets all deredere almost immediately, and I was like "Ahh fuck this the tsundere is barely even tsun."

Forgot to mention that I finished the first season of Code Geass. While I still prefer the "cat and mouse" game in Death Note more, I gotta say I really liked the show.

Also, the episode titled "Bloodstained Euphy" has got to be one of the most intense and dramatic episodes I've experienced in an anime.

SPOILERS

I mean, as soon as Zero accidentally uses the Geass on Euphy and she runs off, you know that its not going to end well AT ALL.

END SPOILERS!

See, I had that scene spoiled for me, so I can only imagine how impacting that must have been for someone who was watching it for the first time.

My favorite moment in the first season has to be when Mao kidnapped Nunally and challenges Lulu to a chess game, so he gets Suzaku to rescue her while geassing himself into forgetting what he told Suzaku to do so Mao wouldn't be able to find out. And then his Geass on Mao was just awesome  :metal

Now hurry up with the second season, because it is epic as all hell.

I didnt like Mao much, but that was a good part :tup

I gotta find a place to watch R2 though. Bandai had uploaded all of the first season to Youtube, so I watched it there. But R2 isnt up on there.

Started watching Code Geass R2. At first I didnt like the new season much, but the ending of episode 5 reminded me why I love it

Spoilers? Kinda...

When Sukazu tricks Lelouche into thinking he's calling a governor when he actually calls Nunally, obviosly to see if Lelouche reacts to her. Such an intense moment, because he has to pretend he doesnt know the one person he been fighting ll this time for.

Holy crap Death Note.

Why did I turn my back to you years ago?

 :hefdaddy :hefdaddy :hefdaddy

The first 24 episodes of Death Note are all stellar. Then it goes down for a while, but the last three episodes are awesome again.

I already said that before, but it doesn't matter to me right now.
... And you ask me: "Where's my hairspray?"

So recently I've been watching the To Aru x no y (with x being Majutsu/Kagaku and y being Index/Railgun) series, and as much as I loved the first season of Index I found Railgun to be totally disappointing. Now I'm into the second season of Index, and this is much better. I highly recommend both seasons of Index to anyone, and I guess you can watch Railgun if, over the course of Index, you think "Gee I sure wish they made a whole show about Misaka wherein they took everything cool about the character out so they could have like 16 episodes of filler".

I just watched Perfect Blue (by the same director that did Paprika).  I was kind of hesitant because I didn't really care for Paprika, but Perfect Blue was amazing.

My favorite scene in Perfect Blue is when the elevator comes down with the radio in it, playing the song by the pop group. Creepy as fuck.

As far as anime this season, I am watching a lot of stuff. A few are carried over from last season, and a whole bunch of new ones. So far, the best ones this season are GOSICK (Victorian detective gothic loli), Puella Magi Madoka Magica (Fucked up and totally awesome mahou shoujo anime [but for dudes] made by sort of an industry dream team), and Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka? (absurd comedy about a guy who is a zombie)
