There is a lot of talk about making the trees look taller.  That is not an issue for me.  I may not hit bottom, but man do I bang the shit out of the sides.

So should lonestar and I have babies or something now, is that how this works?

Yes, I'm aware of the pun, I'm just being silly.

No. Like a lot things I try, I'm sure it would start out modest, then get obsessive for a brief spell, then end up being neglected completely. Due to the fact that I live in fear that pruning the foliage will only make it grow longer when it gets neglected, I have elected to never trim the shrubbery.

Seeing that you had posted in this thread, and knowing your avatar, I wish with all my might that your post would contain the word "shrubbery."  I am so glad I was not disappointed.

It was too good an opportunity to be wasted. I didn't want to make it too obvious though!
Glad to not be a disappointment (I'm going to start saying this to relatives, I like the negativity)

I live in Athens, Ga. -- where all home UGA football games are referred to as being played "between the hedges," due to Sanford Stadium landscaping.  I'm afraid the innocence of that phrase has now been compromised for me.

I dunno.....when I go to the ballet.....I'd rather seen some nicely pruned...rather than completely bald....it makes them look too young to be dancing..which in turn makes me feel like shouldn't be watching.
Take care everyone - Bet you all didn't even notice I was gone.

Happy Lives to you all.
