Do not speak unless you can improve the silence.

While looking through things online to buy for my sister's birthday, I found myself grasping at straws to find something nice that I felt she would not only like but also feel warmly toward. I decided I was going to make her something heartfelt that would maybe make her smile and feel good on really deep level. We have always been very close, so I decided to paint her a portrait. I am really eager to give it to her, I want to see her reaction. It's a digital painting of both of us when I was just born. I've left some artifacts and "smudges" in there to make it more real, more like an organic work than a meticulously overpolished piece.

Thanks. I've framed it with a nice mat and have it wrapped & ready to give to her.

Our job was to select someone to speak for everybody. And I just couldn't in good conscience vote for a person who doesn't believe in God. Someone who honestly thinks the other ninety five percent of us suffer from some form of mass delusion.
