Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

How was Loverboy? Did Mike Reno need his own stage?

Shit, even Winger makes fun of Faster Pussycat.

Shit, even Tim makes fun of Faster Pussycst!!!

I've seen Faster Pussycat. TWICE. In 1987. The worst live band I've ever seen.

You obviously never saw The Bulletboys.

How was Loverboy? Did Mike Reno need his own stage?

I heard he has a dozen 20-packs of McNuggets in his rider.

Cold blooded, man.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

It was a great weekend.  I drank from Thursday through Sunday, so I might have to avoid anything that looks like alcohol for a few days.

*might*

Jack Russell still kicks ass.  Don Dokken still does not.  Station was excellent, despite not getting very long to play and the morons at MPP opening the gates at 3:30, the same time Station started.

And apparently everybody hates Faster Pussycat.  *shrugs*

I always liked that one song House of Pain.  It got a lot of radio play.

But every time I tried to dig deeper into their stuff, it sounded really derivative and "just like all these other bands".  And not in a good way, to my ears.

And apparently not to anyone else's ears, either.  And I get it, I do.  Either way, they put on an ass kicking set and still would have if TD was there.

It's all good.  We're just giving you crap.  If ever there was a band that would be an easy target on a prog forum, it's FP.  :lol  For the record, you know I'm a long-time fan of a lot of that genre, but having seen them twice, they've never been a band I've been the least bit fond of.  /opinions

Again, I get it, I do.  I guess being another vocal defender of the genre on a prog forum, I get a little too touchy about it sometimes.

Anyway, my shoulders are burnt, despite all the hair, the top of my head is burnt, I'm still pretty tired (we had band practice yesterday, after two days of M3), and I think I'm finally half recovering from a 3-4 day hangover, but I'd do it all again.

Intoxicated and singing along with my wife to Great White's "Save Your Love" - moments like that are why I will always keep coming back to M3.

I like the genre as well, although more in a nostalgic, "remember those times" way.

We had to go to a baby shower yesterday (drive 2 and half hours, stay for 45 minutes, drive 2 and a half hours back - yay!), and we actually listened to the Hair Metal station on Sirius XM for a large portion of it.

Bitchin.  I picked up Station's CD while I was there, talked to the guys for a bit, and got the CD signed.  Listened to it today and it's really pretty good stuff.

Not familiar with that band.

Any sign of Roxy Blue?

Station is a band from NYC that got on the bill this year, likely thanks to the fact that a ton of their fans GO to M3 and petitioned for them to be there.  Here's their Youtube page:

https://www.youtube.com/user/StationNYC/videos

There are 6 “official music videos” from the album.

Alas, no sign of Roxy Blue.  I think the guitarist is a dentist nowadays.

I have a 7 hour playlist of 80's songs I'll be playing driving to RoSfest.  Plenty of Hair metal on that playlist.

One of my favorite bands from that time period was Tattoo Rodeo, but no one else knows them.  I also liked Junkyard quite a bit, and the Four Horsemen.

Junkyard was there this year, but not one of the bands I went out of my way to check out.

Nice to see some of these old names.   Was never a fan of Faster Pussycat.  Like some of the stuff from Station.     I have some Marchello but only ever really played one song (All Gods Angels?........memory)

I love The Four Horsemen's "Rockin Is Ma Business"

Never liked Tattoo Rodeo but was into the earlier incarnation of the band (White Sister).  Shame about their production.

... and business is good.

That's a pretty decent album, but I don't know anything else by them.

One day, I'll crash the Coz and Mrs Coz show at M3.

They sounded great.  Their setlist Link

Perfect Strangers was a minute or two snippet, led in from I Want you to Rock Me.  Extremely cool.

As mentioned earlier, Share sang House of Pain for FP's set, and she sounded great!
