I'm not sure what's going on here. Doesn't Mikael have long hair and a beard? Or am I missing something?

Mikael's had shoulder-length hair since Heritage came out, but it still looks kinda long.

And your comments are crossing the line.  Seriously.  Knock that off right now.

The beard looks bad.  He looks like he's trying too hard to fit a stereotype.

Every time I see JP with the huge beard, I imagine him playing with 3 Inches of Blood.
Yeah, I have no idea what the cakeless person in that analogy is meant to be eating. If he's got some sort of cake substitute, it should really have been worked into the narrative at some point. As it stands, the options are:

  • Hoard a cake just to stare blankly into its doughy edifice.
  • Make futile chewing motions with your mouth while starving to death.

Mind Blown
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Opening band for next tour will be Spock's Beard.

They will be laughed off the stage by JP's Beard.

HEY JP! Don't listen to them, just be your self in all it's glory. Don't give in for these these monsters, let it all grow au naturel and fluffy the way it should be!

I'll second that.  If I wasn't a Mortgage Broker, and I didn't have to look "professional" (I have a full beard; just trimmed), my hair would be at my shoulders and my beard would be kept in the "King Leonidas" style.  I think JP's beard more resembles Leonidas than Jace Robertson.

BTW, one of you talented photo shop students needs to make King Petrucci Leonidas a reality I think...

Hahah, laughed way more than i probably should. But that`s the stuff i really like about him, and all of them actually, they are really down to earth.
It seems that they're entering an area of extreme hazard. A zone of some sort. A dangerous one.
