It's always better if we know who we're playing against, so using your username is always appreciated.
Abandoning your pick set because you had a shitty week is a real dick move. Don't be a dick.

I picked a lot of 'dogs this week. That didn't work well for me last year, but we'll see. The first week is always tough, because emotions are high, dreams haven't been dashed yet, and players are still finding their legs. We'll see! Nothing like starting the season in the hole!
-
Why hello.
-
Not sure if I will participate this year. Another kid in the house and waning interest in the NFL means I won't be following as closely in years past.
-
I think I forgot to enter this the last couple years, but I am in for this year.
-
I wanted to do this, but signing to Yahoo just for this? No thanks.

I don't blame you. I've had my yahoo acct for 20 years, from way back before they needed your life's story to sign up. Creating bogus accounts is hard now that everybody requires a phone number. One of my projects is actually to pop $20 for a burner phone just to register a new slew of anonymous yahoo and google accounts.
On the bright side, kit appears that Yahoo will now automatically import your picks from different sets. Now you only need to fill in one and the others will be auto-filled. That would have helped last year when I borked the standings by being a careless oaf.
-
I might still do this for myself, for a bit of fun. I did it for a few weeks last year, but I started late (week 7 or something). It might be interesting to see how I get on starting from the beginning.

I totally forgot about this after week 1. :(
-
I'm still on a high after my perfect week... last year? The year before? Can't remember. I'm never going to be that good ever again, so why bother trying?
Plus, lol-NFL.
-
I'm repeating myself, but it hasn't changed: this was a tough week to pick.
-
It's not like anyone has been on fire this year. Three of us were tops last week at a whopping 9-7. At this time last year, most of us were +30 in correct picks.

Don't sell yourself short... you're 31 games ahead of 9th place!
-
Something told me to pick Dallas. Glad I did....
-
That was a ballsy pick. I don't bet real money on the NFL - haven't in over 20 years - but that's a game I might've put something on. I never would have called that in a million years.
-
I was talking to a guy at work about how the Cowboys upset the Saints in a similar scenario the same season that the Saints won the SB, but still would have never picked this Cowboys team to pull that upset off. That was a hell of a win for them... I was really impressed with Dallas' linebackers. Jaylon Smith reminds me of a young Patrick Willis in his prime. Vander Esch looks like a young Luke Keuchly.
Also, Prescott deserves a ton of credit for the turnaround the Cowboys have made since he was given a legitimate weapon in the passing game. Haven't heard anything from the Prescott detractors lately :justjen

And I am a gazillion games above KevShmev and the 9th place person....due to their forgetfulness.
I do really enjoy reading the newspaper, and following Sam Farmer, a syndicated columnist from the LA Times.
He is 118-56-2 going into this weekend (85-84-7 against the spread). Who knows...maybe I will catch up to all youz guyz

Checked to see how I did over the weekend last night......and none of my picks were saved :tdwn Been doing this for three years, and that's a first. Should have triple checked sooner. Oh well, so much for possibly finishing 3rd or 4th.

Yeah, I missed my AM picks in a different league a few weeks ago. Seems to happen once a year. I actually employ some good redundancy, but it's weird mornings with weird timing that get me. I rely on routine Sunday mornings, and if my schedule is off things don't always work out.
-
Congratulations to Barto, who is up 4 with 3 to play
-
Thought the Colts would show better, but they didn't.
I'm still picking NE over KC, and I'm picking the Saints over the Rams.

Much obliged.
And since I pre-filled in the winner for this year I don't even have to edit the OP.
