To all the dad's here - and there's more than a handful of us - make it a fantastic fucking day! May it be filled with worship of the greatest of bones ... T-Bone, bone-in ribeye, ribs, lamb shank, whatever floats your boat.
No big plans here. Just chilin and grillin. Gonna be 34oC here, feeling like 43 (that's over 100F for you Yanks).

Being a dad means you are going to invest pretty much everything you have in life for the sake of the kids. Your time, your emotional energy, your money, etc...Kids will break your heart, ignore your advice, keep you up at night and test your faith. It so often means NOT doing what you want to do but putting their needs and desires above all. It means gladly seeing one of the kids get that last piece of pizza that you really wanted.
And it is the greatest responsibility and honor you can undertake. From what I read here most of the DTF dads "get it". There's nothing greater in life IMO.

Plenty of Dad stuff on the bill today. After getting the pork roast in a marinade, Mrs. P and I are heading out to the golf course. From then on it's grilling, drinking and cheering for Toni Finau! :)

Yes, Happy Father's Day DTF!
My nephew graduated high school this weekend, so we are going to my brother's house in New Hampshire. Will actually get to see my father as well on Father's Day for the first time in many years.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads on DTF. We're having some family over for a barbeque today, I'm going to make some steaks sous vide and my dad's going to grill a bunch of stuff, and a good time should be had by all. Giving my dad a birthday/Father's Day combo gift this year of an overnight down in Atlantic City including dinner at an awesome steakhouse.
